Along with a generous donation, JCBC has offered to match membership donations* made prior to Dec. 31, 2008. Your donation now will be immediately matched 100%, meaning more funds for KanBikeWalk to promote and advocate for safer roads and infrastructure throughout all of Kansas for you. Please make your donation now to take full advantage of the opportunity to double your donation by mailing your membership donation, postmarked no later than December 31, 2008, to:

KanBikeWalk Annual Meeting Ride 2008

The 2008 KanBikeWalk Annual Meeting Ride took place on Saturday, November 22 in Topeka, Kansas. The group of seven riders, lead by Alan Apel, rode through the city for about 20 miles.

Highlights of the ride included the Shunga trail and Kansas’ first bicycle roundabout, passing by the Governor’s mansion, state capitol building, and a trek over the cobblestones in a beautiful old Topeka neighborhood.
